Your Role
As a Functional IT Analyst - Energy & Utilities, you act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams, helping energy and utility organisations transform their processes, systems, and customer experiences. You will analyse business needs, translate them into functional solutions, and contribute to successful project delivery within the Belgian energy market.
In this role you will play a key role in:
- Gathering, analysing, and documenting business and functional requirements through workshops, interviews, and stakeholder collaboration.
- Mapping and optimising business processes to improve operational efficiency and customer experience.
- Translating business needs into functional specifications and supporting solution design activities.
- Collaborating with business stakeholders, product owners, developers, and project teams to ensure solution alignment.
- Supporting testing, validation, and implementation activities to ensure high-quality deliveries.
- Contributing to energy and utilities transformation initiatives while ensuring compliance with market regulations and industry standards.
Your Profile
You are an analytical professional with a passion for technology and business transformation. You enjoy working with stakeholders, solving complex challenges, and delivering value through innovative solutions within the Energy & Utilities sector.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Functional Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role within the Energy & Utilities industry, with knowledge of the Belgian energy
- market and regulations (e.g. MIG6, GDPR, CREG).
- Strong expertise in business analysis methodologies, process modelling techniques (BPMN, UML), and stakeholder management.
- Fluent in English and Dutch and/or French, with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
