Your Role
As a Functional Test Engineer, you play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of digital solutions. Working closely with business and technical teams, you help validate that applications meet functional requirements, support business objectives, and deliver an optimal user experience. Your analytical mindset and attention to detail contribute to the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions.
In this role you will play a key role in:
- Analyse requirements, user stories, and functional specifications to identify test conditions and quality risks.
- Design, execute, and maintain functional test cases and test scenarios.
- Detect, document, and follow up defects throughout the testing lifecycle.
- Assess testing results and provide recommendations regarding release readiness.
- Collaborate closely with business analysts, developers, and project stakeholders to ensure quality objectives are achieved.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes, methodologies, and quality practices.
Your Profile
We are looking for quality-driven professionals who combine strong analytical skills with a passion for software quality. You enjoy working in collaborative environments, have a keen eye for detail, and are committed to delivering reliable digital solutions that meet business expectations.
- 2 to 6 years of experience in functional or manual software testing.
- ISTQB Foundation Certification.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a quality-first mindset.
- Fluent in Dutch or French, with a good understanding of the other national language and English.
