Your Role
As an IT Functional Analyst, you act as the vital link between business stakeholders and technical teams. You analyse business processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and translate business needs into functional solutions that deliver tangible value. By combining analytical thinking with strong communication skills, you ensure that applications and systems effectively support organisational objectives and user expectations.
In this role you will play a key role in:
- Gather, analyse, and document business requirements through workshops, interviews, and process assessments.
- Translate business needs into clear functional specifications and user stories for development teams.
- Collaborate with developers, testers, architects, and project managers throughout the solution lifecycle.
- Validate solution designs and ensure delivered functionalities align with business expectations and requirements.
- Support user acceptance testing, end-user training, and the creation of functional documentation.
- Identify opportunities to optimise business processes, improve system efficiency, and enhance user experience.
Your Profile
We are looking for analytical and customer-focused professionals who enjoy bridging the gap between business and technology. You are an effective communicator, thrive in collaborative environments, and are passionate about delivering solutions that create measurable business value.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional proficiency in Dutch and English.
- Experience as an IT Functional Analyst, Business Analyst, Functional Consultant, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of requirements gathering, process modelling, functional documentation, SQL, and enterprise applications such as ERP or CRM systems.
